Our Staff, Tutors and Volunteers
Wavlink’s programs are brought to life by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, many with specialist skills in art, ceramics, cooking, textiles, gardening and more. Some have been part of the Wavlink community for years, sharing their time and expertise to help our participants build skills, confidence and connection every day. We’re incredibly grateful for the passion and care they bring to every session.
Jo Silver, Manager
Jo came to Wavlink because she loves working with people, is skilled at building organisations, and is passionate about driving meaningful change, equity and inclusion. Wavlink is the perfect fit.
She brings over 25 years’ experience across not for profit leadership, disability services and community development, including CEO and senior leadership roles at Stand Up, the Victorian Parents Council and local government. A natural connector and facilitator, Jo excels at bringing people together, aligning stakeholder needs with organisational goals, and turning gaps and opportunities into lasting outcomes.
Jo is MBA qualified with an allied health background, giving her a genuine understanding of disability and person-centred care, and thrives on solving complex problems with energy, determination and a results-driven approach.
Sara Henriquez, Team leader
Sara has been a much loved part of the Wavlink community for more than 10 years, sharing her creativity, kindness and generous spirit with participants, staff and the wider community. She brings experience across teaching, aged care, disability support, arts, ceramics, cooking and IT to create welcoming, inclusive classes for everyone.
As Team Leader, Sara supports and guides our tutors, staff and participants, bringing structure and care to daily operations while keeping Wavlink’s programs running smoothly. Her popular cooking and ceramics classes are filled with creativity, connection and plenty of fun, and she has a natural ability to make participants feel safe, supported and confident to try new things, regardless of their experience or ability.
Sara brings people together, builds confidence, and creates a warm, welcoming space where everyone feels valued, supported and connected.
Isabel Ho, Admin Coordinator
Isabel is likely the friendly voice you hear at the end of the line when you call Wavlink. She works closely with participants, carers and support coordinators, ensuring that administrative processes are completed smoothly from initial contact through to commencement in a Wavlink activity.
Isabel supports the management team with reporting and compliance obligations to funding bodies, and also assists with marketing, communications and event management at Wavlink.
Isabel has worked in Neighbourhood Houses for 20 years and brings her experience in administration and community development to the team. She loves being part of an organisation so committed to improving the lives of others, and helping make Wavlink a warm and happy place for everyone.
