About Us

Hand painted and mosaic hand print tiles made by Wavlink participants over the years

Wavlink is a warm and welcoming Neighbourhood House in Glen Waverley, Melbourne. We offer supportive group activities that build skills, creativity and community connections for adults living with a disability or other conditions.

We also welcome the broader Monash community, providing opportunities for friends, carers, and people of all abilities and backgrounds to participate in social events, educational workshops and community activities, including groups for carers and specific community groups.”

Guided by our participants individual interests and goals, a person-centered approach and small group sizes of up to a 1:5 ratio ensure everyone’s unique strengths and abilities are recognised. Activities are suited to people with a mild to moderate disability who are able to attend and engage in planned activities independently or with minimal support.

Our staff are unable to administer medication or provide 1:1 support for people who require assistance with personal care, or have complex health or behavioural issues.

In some cases, if additional support is needed to access our programs, and there is capacity, participants may choose to be accompanied by a suitably qualified support person. We can also offer information about other services that offer broader supports.
