Christine Prasad, Chair
Christine joined the Wavlink Board in 2018 and became Chair in September 2024. A qualified technology professional, she brings extensive experience in project management, digital transformation and stakeholder engagement within the education sector, and currently works at the Victorian Department of Education. Christine is committed to strong governance, strategic leadership and delivering meaningful, sustainable outcomes for Wavlink’s participants and the broader community.
Max Patterson, Treasurer
Max joined the Wavlink Board as Treasurer in 2024 following his retirement from the Finance Officer role at Wavlink. He brings a wide breadth of accounting experience spanning both the not for profit and public hospital sectors, having previously worked as a Project Accountant, Management Accountant and Clinical Costing Coordinator. Beyond his Board role, Max is an active volunteer at Monash Men’s Shed and has helped Wavlink achieve and maintain Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status. An enthusiastic traveller, Max brings financial acumen and dedication to supporting Wavlink’s financial stability and long term sustainability.
Alison James, Secretary
Alison joined the Wavlink Board as Secretary in 2025, bringing a long history of service to the organisation. She began volunteering at Wavlink in 2006 and, after retiring in 2016, significantly increased her involvement, now attending most days of the week, often accompanied by her much loved dog, Tayah. She has also served as Board Minute Secretary for more than seven years. Her commitment, attention to detail and extensive knowledge of the organisation provide valuable administrative support to Wavlink’s governance and ongoing success.
Roisin Cait Bailey, Board Member
Roisin is a User Experience Designer specialising in content and digital design, with a focus on creating inclusive and accessible experiences. She brings experience in user research, digital product design and simplifying complex processes to improve usability for a wide range of people. Roisin is learning Auslan and has experience working alongside people with disability. As a Board member, she brings a strong focus on inclusive design and accessibility to support Wavlink’s governance and strategic direction.
Stefanie Bauer, Board Member
Stefanie has served on the Wavlink Board since the early 2000s and has witnessed the organisation grow into the welcoming, inclusive community house it is today, including through its 30 year anniversary. Stefanie brings extensive experience from her work in aged care, complemented by a background in community health, and is currently studying a Diploma of Dementia. As a Board member, she contributes valuable expertise in disability and aged care, supported by strong operational management experience.
Ryan Oldham, Board Member
Ryan is a technology executive and commercial leader with extensive experience scaling software businesses across the Asia Pacific, Europe, the Middle East and Africa. His expertise spans digital transformation, delivery and go-to-market strategy, and he has held senior roles at Salesforce and Trustpilot, contributing to the growth of one of the United Kingdom’s first technology unicorns. As a Board member, Ryan focuses on strategic growth, operational modernisation and helping create lasting value for participants and the wider community.
Pauline Wilson, Board Member
Pauline joined the Wavlink Board in 2025, motivated by her awareness of the valuable services a Community House provides to many people. A retired teacher, she has worked across a variety of educational settings, including primary, secondary and special needs schools, and has trained teachers to support students with learning difficulties. Pauline has also held several voluntary roles supporting people with disability, including executive positions with the Winnacom Association and as a member of the Rossbourne School Board.
