Wavlink is a warm, and welcoming Community House, in Glen Waverley, Melbourne. We offer supportive group activities that build skills, creativity and community connections for adults living with a disability or other condition.
We also provide opportunities for friends, carers, and people of all abilities, and backgrounds to participate in social events, educational workshops and broader community activities.
Guided by our participants individual interests and goals, a person-centered approach and small group sizes of up to a 1:5 ratio ensure everyone’s unique strengths and abilities are recognised. Activities are suited to people with a mild to moderate disability who are able to attend and engage in planned activities independently or with minimal support.
Our staff are unable to administer medication or provide 1:1 support for people who require assistance with personal care, or have complex health, or behavioral issues.
In some cases, if additional support is needed to access our programs, and there is capacity, participants may choose to be accompanied by a suitably qualified support person. We can also offer information about other services that offer broader supports.
