Wavlink conducts a broad range of activities designed to:

  • Meet the educational and recreational needs of people with disabilities;
  • Provide opportunity to explore interests and abilities;
  • Foster independence, confidence and self-esteem;
  • Develop interpersonal communication skills; and
  • Encourage self-help and mutual support.

Wavlink also provides support and respite to carers; undertakes individual asssessment, program planning and referral for clients; fosters integration into the wider community; and provides education and information to carers and the broader community.

Our educational pathways include pre-vocational, pre-accredited, planned activity groups and recreation classes. Wavlink courses and events include:

  • Sewing;
  • Woodwork;
  • Reading Writing and Comprehension;
  • Computers and technical development;
  • Cooking;
  • Social events;
  • Recreation and fitness;
  • Pottery;
  • Music; and
  • Jobseeking and employment skills.
